he Specular beanie was designed with the idea of reflection. 2 skeins will produce two mirrored beanies. 
This knit pattern is written for 5 weights; super bulky, light super bulky, bulky, light bulky, and worsted. It includes written instructions, as well as some video tutorials for stitches you may not be familiar with. 
This beanie is knit in the round and uses stranded colorwork. The possibilities for different color combinations are endless!

Super Bulky- Color A: 47 yds, Color B: 35 yds (Malabrigo Rasta)
Light Super Bulky- Color A: 50 yds, Color B: 38 yds (Madeline Tosh ASAP and Malabrigo Noventa) 
Bulky- Color A: 52 yds, Color B: 34 yds (Malabrigo Chunky)
Light bulky- Color A: 63 yds, Color B: 47 yds (Malabrigo Mecha)
    Worsted- Color A: 72 yds, Color B: 60 yds (Malabrigo Worsted)
Needles:
Super Bulky- US size 11/ 8 mm and US size 13/ 9 mm circular needles 
Light Super Bulky- US size 10.5/ 6.5 mm and US size 11/ 8 mm circular needles
Bulky- US size 10/ 6 mm and US size 11/ 8 mm circular needles
Light Bulky- US size 9/ 5.5 mm and US size 10.5/ 6.5 mm circular needles
Worsted- US size 7/ 4.5 mm and US size 9/ 5.5 mm circular needles
Scissors, stitch marker, tapestry needle, measuring tape
Optional pom, DPN’s, and cable needle

Super Bulky- 4x4”/ 10 x 10 cm = 11 sts x 14 rows in stockinette (Rasta US size 13 circular needles)
Light Super Bulky-  4x4”/ 10 x 10 cm = 11 sts x 16 rows in stockinette (Noventa US size 11 circular needles)
Bulky- 4x4”/ 10 x 10 cm = 12 sts x 16 rows in stockinette (Chunky US size 11 circular needles)
Light Bulky-  4x4”/ 10 x 10 cm = 15 sts x 21 rows in stockinette (Mecha US size 10.5 circular needles)
Worsted-  4x4”/ 10 x 10 cm = 17 sts x 25 rows in stockinette (Worsted US size 9 circular needles)
