Braided Hearts Bonnet Knit Pattern

The Braided Hearts series has just expanded to now include a Braided Hearts Bonnet!
This bonnet is written for 6 sizes: newborn through adult!
This pattern includes photo and video tutorials of stitches and techniques you may not be familiar with.
The split brim of the bonnet is knit flat and then is joined in round for the body. Braids are added at the end to give it that cute bonnet look.
This bonnet has the most comfortable fit and is full of squishy texture goodness! It has a beautiful braided hearts design.

Materials:
Super Bulky Yarn-Malabrigo Rasta was used for this pattern, but any super bulky size 6 yarn will work.
Adult- approximately 85 yds, Child 4-7y- approximately 75 yds, Toddler 1-3y- approximately 65 yds,
Baby 6-12m-approximately 55 yds, Baby 0-3m- approximately 48 yds, Newborn- approximately 35 yds. Braids will take about 10-15 yds. (This is included in total yardage used.)
Needles- US size 11/ 8 mm circular needles
DPNs (optional)
Tapestry needle, Measuring tape, Scissors, crochet hook
